 TRANSFORMERS: CAR ROBOT
Team Shinkansen (C-012/C-013/C-014)

J-SEVEN (C-013)

C-013 J-Seven

VEHICLE MODE:  J-Seven (C-013) is based on the 700-series "shinkansen" in Japan.  This is the second release in the Trainbots line-up.  It is approximately 8" in length, 1 ½" in height, and 1 ¼" in width and is the shortest of the three.  Its primary color scheme gray and black.

This train also has four sets of moving wheels, a number of blue tinted passenger windows, a blue tinted windshield, and the logo "Rail Star Cybertron" imprinted on both sides of the car.  There’s also a hitch at the rear for towing other trains and a porthole under the nose so it can be towed.  The hitch also becomes part of his weapon that will be described below.

ROBOT MODE:  The first step in J-Seven’s transformation to robot mode is to remove the top piece of the car by lifting the "lips" on either side and pulling upward.  This three-section piece will become part of the weapon/shield.  Next, separate the rear end slightly to remove the weapon and extend the rear that forms the legs (sound familiar?).  Now fold the side panels (located towards the front of the car) to the front exposing the folded arms.   Now fold the nosepiece downward.  The nosepiece now becomes part of the torso and is folded downward a second time.  You’ll now notice the head of J-Seven that is tucked under the windshield.  Flip the head upward into position and extend the arms down.  Moving towards the legs, extend the dark-blue rear pieces down and out creating the front of his feet.  And finally extend the trains wheels downward that now form the rear of his feet.

His weapon is a Shield with a firing Missile-A.  Insert the missile in its socket, flip the two black triangular flaps upward, and flip down the hand grip and viola!  Depressing a button near the hand grip can fire the missile.  His weapon acts both as a shield (tilted downward) and a gun firing the Missile-A (tilted upward).
