VEHICLE MODE: J-Four (C-014) is
based on the 400-series "shinkansen" in Japan that is also designated as E4.
This is the third and final Trainbot released thus far. It is approximately
10" in length, 1 ½" in height, and 1 ¼" in width. It is the longest
train of the three. Its primary colors are white, blue, and yellow.
As with all of the trains, there are four sets of moving wheels, a
number of yellow tinted passenger windows, a yellow tinted windshield, and the logo
"MAX Cybertron" imprinted on both sides of the car. There’s also a
hitch at the rear for towing other trains and a porthole under the nose so it can be
towed. The hitch also becomes part of his weapon that will be described below.
ROBOT MODE: The first step in J-Four’s
transformation to robot mode is to remove his weapons which happens to be the hitch
(hmmm…) and is also located under the top of the car. Just lift the top upward
from the rear (hinged in the middle of the car) and remove the weapon firing
"box". Keep the flap open and perform the same step lifting the top at the
front. Once both "hoods" are in the upward position, pull both sides
(front & rear) of the car outward. The front and rear of the car form the legs
that have to be folded back and down. Now back to the "hoods"…you
should see the arms tucked away underneath that should be extended at this point.
The partially formed robot should be visible with the "hood" representing
shoulder guards, a torso (flap needs to be pulled downward), and his legs. The head
is tucked away and can be exposed by pushing the back end of the rectangular piece that
should lift up the front end. The head should be facing upward at this point.
Tilt the head downward so that he’s looking in the right direction. The feet
are the last transform. The right foot (nosepiece of car) is rotated 180 degrees,
flipped up creating the front of his foot. The wheels are extended and rotated 180
degrees and flipped outward creating the rear of his foot. Finally, folding out the
wheels and rear piece then rotating the entire foot 180 degrees creates the left foot. |

Riffle with Missile-B
J-Four’s weapon is a Rifle that fires
Missile-B. Insert the yellow missile into the barrel that connects to the firing
box. Lift the "eye-sight" into position and extend the hand grip downward.
Fit the weapon into J-Four’s fist and you’re done. The missile is
fired when depressing a button underneath the rifle.
