 TRANSFORMERS: CAR ROBOT

GOOSHER (D-004)

D-004 Goosher

Goosher is the last of the Metals Beasts.  This figure is a re-paint of Hasbro’s Transmetals2 Spittor and called "Gaeru" or frog on the packaging.

The above photo shows Goosher in Beast Mode as a mecha frog.

BEAST MODE:  Goosher’s color scheme is more of a maroon vice red as in my photos.  The tips of his webbed claws are painted silver and its back is painted gold.  The top of his head is chrome copper and the lower back is chrome blue.  The underside of Goosher is black and so is his tongue which also acts as a clubbed weapon in robot mode.

ROBOT MODE:  Transformation begins with removing the club from his tongue.  The top-half of this beast lifts up separating at the jaws.  The lower jaw flips up and front legs are extended which now becomes the robots legs.  The legs attached to the upper jaw piece needs to be extended which is now the robots hands.  Rotate the legs at the knees 180 degrees and you'll notice that the lower jaw that was flipped up is now the robots rear-end.

The next piece to work with is the upper jaw/body.  There is a swivel joint which is located in the center of the upper shell.  Flip the lower half then the upper half.  Once the upper jaw is flipped up you'll see Goosher's robot head connected with two swivel joints.  Swing his head to the right then up out of the way so you can rotate the entire robot's body to the left and the head down so it is positioned on it's chest.  This gives Goosher the hunchback appearance.

Lastly, flip down the shoulders which was the upper jaw and lower back (top piece).   Lift up the BeakHand and rotate it forward then attach the club weapon to his hand.   That's it!

Both modes are quite simple to transform as with all of the Metals Beasts in the first wave and Goosher gets my vote for the best beast!

Close up of Goosher

Here is a close up photo of his wicked looking snarl.   His hunched back adds to his wickedness which is why he is my choice of the three Metals Beasts!  He has blue eyes and silver painted over his face.  There's also a green spot on his helmet which sort of looks like a wart.

Goosher's Right shoulder with Crystal Spark

Goosher's Spark Crystal is located on the roof of his mouth in Beast Mode and under his right shoulder in Robot Mode.
