VEHICLE MODE:
Shuttler is a re-colored "Blast Off" (Olive Drab) Space Shuttle. He now
has a Black & White color scheme with hints of Purple, Yellow-Brown, and Orange and is
4" in length. Shuttler comes with three weapon attachments, two of which are
PulseLasers and one is a pistol or some sort. The lasers can connect to two of the
shuttle's engine nozzles giving Shuttler decent weaponry in vehicle mode. The pistol
on the other hand doesn't have a place in this mode. There aren't any stickers on
Shuttler but a military Autobot symbol is placed on top of the shuttle's left wing.
Three wheels can be found underneath and are permanently extended. If you notice the
photo above you'll see splashes of Yellow-Brown in three locations; middle &
rear-top. I believe it's painted that way for Shuttler in robot mode.
ROBOT MODE: To transform Shuttler into
robot mode you have to extend the front and rear from the middle piece. Then fold
the two wing upward and the tail-fin downward. Now stand Shuttler on his feet which
is the rear of the shuttle and position it so that you're looking at the underside of
Shuttler, wheels and all. The Orange piece is now part of his torso. The next
step is to separate the nosepiece in two creating the letter "T". You
should see Shuttler's head at this time. Now rotate each half at the shoulder 180
degrees and fold downward. The tip of the nosepiece are his fists which need to be
rotated up so you can attach his pistol. The last step is to attach the two
PulseLasers to both sides of his legs. You should see a Black peg on either side
which is actually the underside of the shuttle's wings. |
The above
photo shows Shuttler in both Vehicle and Robot Modes.

Here's a close up photo of Shuttler's head with his
Purple painted mask.
Shuttler can transform into Baldigus' shoulder (arm
attachment) or knee (leg attachment), depending upon his mission (Flight or Land).
To create the arm attachment from vehicle mode, first
extend the rear and fold in all three wings. Next, extend the shoulder attachment
which is located on the top of the shuttle's bay. And finally, attach one of
Baldigus' fists to Shuttler's engine nozzle. Now attach him to Baldigus and you're
done.
To create the leg attachment from vehicle mode, fold in
all three wings, then extend the front of the shuttle. Separate the nosepiece in
two, rotate the halves 180 degrees, and fold down. Now attach Baldigus' foot
platform to Shuttler's engine nozzle, and attach him to Baldigus' knee using his head as
the connector.
Overall, Shuttler is okay...plain colors and simple
transformation. Definitely not my favorite Combatron. |
